6 Years of Rallying.
During the 5 years we have had our ups and downs. In 2005 we won the 205 challenge winter championship, In 2007 I won the BTRDA Rally man of the year and the 1st 1400s Navigator. 2006 me and my oldest friend built our own rally car. 2008 saw a big off on the Bulldog Rally finishing upside down in a ditch after 4 rolls we also rolled on this event in 2007! 2009 was quiet due to loss of job.
So you’d like to know a bit about me, Well I’m 23 and from Wigan, England. From the day dot I have been a fan of Motorsport rallying in particular, my grandad can be thanked for this. I’ve been watching rallying for as long as I can remember and their are some photo’s in the family album of me in Clocaenog forest about 2 year old deep in snow.
I have always been into rallying from as far back as I can remember. I am registered partially sighted and unable to drive due to a visual impairment. This was gutting for me as from being small I had always wanted to be a budding rally driver but that was and is never to be. Instead from the age of 17 I got into Navigating and have been doing it ever since. I have now competed on more than 70 rallys in 5 years some from single venues like three sisters to multi venue closed road rally’s like the Tunnocks tour of Mull. Ive never let my vision phase me and I hope to carry on competing in many competitions in the future.

I currently work with 16-19 year olds who hardest to reach and not in education and work. It can be demanding due to some of the issues the young people over come but I like to use myself as a example to remind them that they can achieve whatever they want in life if they put there minds too it.
